Delete your account

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Your health data is yours. You can delete your Irva account and everything in it at any time, without contacting us and without giving a reason.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open Irva and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and health data are permanently removed.

Request deletion instead

If you can't access the app — for example you've changed phone or lost access to your sign-in — email support@akagai.co from the email address on your Irva account, with the subject "Delete my account".

We verify that the request comes from the account holder before actioning it, and complete verified requests within 30 days. We'll confirm by email when it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleted permanentlyRetained
Your account and sign-in credentials · profile (name, email, phone, city, date of birth, height, medication and dose) · daily logs (protein, fibre, water, meals, mood, energy, digestion, food noise, side effects) · weight and body-composition history · lab results · dose and injection history · workout and training records · generated meal plans Transaction records (amount, date, plan, reference) where tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. These contain no health data. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. We cannot recover a deleted account, and there is no grace period or restore window. If you want a copy of your data before it goes, email support@akagai.co and we will send you an export first.

If you subscribe

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed outside the app. If you hold an active plan, cancel it first or contact support@akagai.co so we can close the billing relationship alongside the account.

Just want to sign out?

Signing out clears the data cached on your device but keeps your cloud account, so you can sign back in later and pick up where you left off. Only Delete account removes your data from our servers.
